HeelShield

Preventive Pad
Primo’s Preventive Pad is a convoluted 4″ foam pad that floats patients’ heels up to 2″ from the bed, greatly reducing the chance of heel pressure injuries. A non-slip bottom keeps the Preventive Pad in place and removes the need for frequent repositioning that often occurs with pillows. Preventive Pad increases patient compliance because feet are free and cool and minimally reduces pressure from sacral area. This product is easy to use and excellent for Burn Patients. Wipe down fabric can be cleaned with a disinfectant wipe to prevent soiling, making Preventive Pad reusable or disposable.
